2007 Semillon

Type of grape:  Semillon is one of the noblest Bordeaux varietals with spicy flavors, golden color when ripe and apple flavors at harvest and in the bottle.  This elegant grape distinguishes itself from other Bordeaux whites because of its spicy character a clean acid finish.

Description of Wine:   This is the inaugural white wine for Baumbach Wines.  Careful attention to the details of chilling, settling and patience has made this wine a standout.  This wine has crisp, spicy, golden apple tones to the nose and taste with a tingly acid sensation on the tongue.  A lingering hint of ripe apple completes the enjoyment.
